MTB Travel & Tours – Liability & Cancellation Policy
Our Responsibility:
MTB Travel & Tours, based in Mauritius, operates all tours outlined here. We and our partners are responsible for providing the services we offer, but we
disclaim any liability for:
Property loss or damage
Death or personal injuries (including loss of services)
These may occur during your tour, whether it’s related to transport, accommodation, or any other part of the journey. This includes any issues with
transportation companies or delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.
Children’s Policy:
Ages 2-11: Children are charged for excursions.
Under 2 years: Free of charge (must sit on an adult’s lap).
Cancellation & Refunds:
To get a refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the tour starts.

Refund Conditions for Sea and Air-Related Activities
(MTB Travel and Tours Ltd – Catamaran Cruises, Speedboat Tours, Helicopter Tours, and other similar activities)
Cancellation by MTB Travel and Tours Ltd (Due to Bad Weather Conditions):
In the event of cancellations due to bad weather conditions or safety concerns, 100% of payment for the TOUR PURCHASED will be refunded to the client.
Transportation fees are not included in REFUNDS.
Weather assessments are conducted 24 hours prior to the scheduled excursion, and any cancellations made based on these conditions will be communicated
to the client promptly.
Please note, a refund will not be provided if the activity is conducted as scheduled despite weather conditions, unless safety protocols dictate otherwise.
Client Cancellation:
MTB Travel and Tours Ltd does not offer refunds for cancellations made by the client less than 48Hrs or on the same day of excursion.
In the case of cancellation by the client, no refund will be issued, regardless of the reason.
No-Show Policy:
If the client does not show up for the scheduled activity, the full cost of the excursion will be charged and no refund will be issued.
Rescheduling:
Rescheduling of activities is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Clients must request rescheduling at least 48 hours in advance. MTB
Travel and Tours Ltd will do its best to accommodate changes, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Excursion Payments & Terms – MTB Travel & Tours
Booking your dream excursion is easy with MTB Travel & Tours! Here’s what you need to know:
Payment Options:
Credit Card (3.5% processing fee)
Cash (Mauritian Rupees, British Pounds, Euros, US Dollars, or other agreed currencies)
Note: Additional charges not included in your excursion cost (paid directly to suppliers) will be shared with you at the time of booking.
Group Size Requirements:
Some excursions may require a minimum number of participants. We’ll notify you ASAP if this affects your plans.
Terms & Conditions
Tickets, coupons, and bookings are subject to the terms of the transport or service providers.
MTB Travel & Tours acts as an agent and reserves the right to change the itinerary, transport, or accommodations. No refund or allowance, but any additional
costs will be your responsibility.
Weather conditions may cause changes to your itinerary, and we’ll keep you updated!
IMPORTANT: The contents of our emails and any attachments are confidential. They are intended for the named recipient(s) only. If you have received
emails by mistake, please notify the sender immediately and do not disclose the contents to anyone or make copies thereof.
Warning: Although taking reasonable precautions to ensure no viruses or malicious softwares are present in this email, the sender cannot accept
responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the use of our emails or attachments.
Transport Responsibility: Once you’re off-board, transport companies are not responsible for any incidents.
Cancellation: MTB Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel or withdraw a tour. If this happens, you’ll get a refund based on the remaining tour cost.
Lost Property:
We’re not responsible for any lost valuables during excursions, so keep your things safe!
